Lifting Jigs In response to customer requests (in particular from Carillion Rail), Signal House Ltd has developed a new set of lifting jigs suitable for railway use. These lifting devices are not designed to carry items over any specified distance, but replace the need for direct manual handling in difficult locations.  The HW point machine lifting jig allows the point machine to be lined up correctly over the track and lowered into place safely. The kit comes in 5 pieces and can be assembled in under 60 seconds. Our other lifting jig is designed for use with signal heads and allows them to be safely lifted into position on a signal post without the use of rail plant.
