LED Route IndicatorsSignal House Ltd has expanded its knowledge of LED signalling to produce LED route indicators.Our standard range of fibre-optic route indicators: • BR1651/1 Standard route indicator (theatre) • BR1651/2 Miniature route indicator (stencil) • BR1651/3 Banner repeater signal are all now available as LED versions. In order to convert the standard units to LED, Signal House Ltd has developed an LED light source (called the LED illuminator) to replace the standard quartz-halogen equivalent. The expected minimum life of an illuminator unit is 5 years.   The basics of each fibre-optic unit remain the same, meaning that the same level of flexibility in indications can still be provided (i.e. 10 aspects max per theatre, 4 aspects max per stencil). The high reliability and long life of these units makes them an excellent choice for remote or inaccessible locations. A retro-fit unit is being developed for use with existing indicators.
